Peoria Barge Terminal is fortunate that our location is also one of our most important assets. We are on an area of the river that rarely freezes, and that gives us the ability to load and unload barges year-round. In terms of trucking, our facilities are just off of US Route 24 with easy and nearby access to I-74 as well as I-55. On site rail service is available by Union Pacific, TPW, and P&PU. Whatever mode of transportation - or combinations of modes - our customers require, Peoria Barge Terminal is situated to handle their needs.
